Kevin served as Blackhawk’s Head Golf Professional from 2019-2025 and was promoted to Executive Professional at the start of 2026. Kevin has been a proud member of the PGA of Canada since 2007 and continues to work towards his goals within the industry that he loves. He was named PGA of Alberta Class ’A" Professional of the Year in 2016 and is a current member of the Association’s main Board of Directors. Blackhawk has become his second home, and he truly enjoys serving our members and their guests and making the Club’s Experience the premier of its kind in the Alberta Market.

2023 - Elected to the PGA of Alberta Board of Directors

Elizabeth is entering her first year as Head Golf Professional at Blackhawk, following a successful year serving as Associate Professional. Prior to joining Blackhawk, she held the role of Associate Professional at the Edmonton Petroleum Club and previously served as an Assistant Professional at Windermere Golf & Country Club. In addition to her club responsibilities, Elizabeth is the Head Coach of the University of Alberta Women’s Golf Team and was named the 2025 Canada West Women’s Golf Coach of the Year in recognition of her leadership and competitive excellence. Elizabeth remains deeply committed to the growth of the game, actively serving the golf community through her involvement with multiple PGA of Alberta and PGA of Canada initiatives focused on inclusivity and expanding access to golf. She is dedicated to continuing Blackhawk’s culture of excellence, delivering exceptional experiences for both members and their guests.

Violet arrived at Blackhawk for the 2023 season with twenty years of experience in accounting and finance. She has worked in many different industries: including oil & gas, legal, and most recently with the Gear Centre Group of Companies.  She has enjoyed the change of pace in entering the recreation & hospitality sector and serving the Blackhawk membership.

Dustin was appointed the 3rd Superintendent in Blackhawk history at the start of the 2022 season, having previously served 17 years in the same role at Connaught Golf Club in Medicine Hat. He is an Accredited Golf Superintendent with the Canadian Golf Superintendents Association, currently serving as its President and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2015. He was also President of the Alberta Golf Superintendents Association in 2014.

Hailey joined the Blackhawk Team in 2020 as a lounge server and was promoted to Food and Beverage Manager for the 2023 season. She graduated from the University of Alberta in 2020 with BSc specializing in Immunology and Immunity. Hailey loves leading a team dedicated to providing unparalleled service to the membership and their guests.

Robert is the 3rd Executive Chef in Blackhawk history, a title that he has held since 2013. Robert did his apprenticeship at NAIT College in Edmonton to obtain his Journeyman and Red Seal certification. Robert enjoys the challenge of satisfying the wide variety of pallets and high expectations of the Blackhawk Membership. He is passionate about sourcing the finest of ingredients for all of his divine culinary creations.

Aaron started at Blackhawk in 2021 after 10 years at the Edmonton Country Club and has been an integral part of the Golf Operations Team ever since. Aaron has a background in corporate sales but has experience in every corner of the golf business. He took over the Outside Events portfolio in 2024.

Matt has been an Assistant Professional at Blackhawk since 2019 and was promoted to Lead Instructor of the Blackhawk Academy for the start of the 2025 season. With a knowledgeable and athletic background in sports, he emphasizes the importance of efficiency and athleticism that can help you play better golf. With focus on measurable Trackman data points, Matt will help you understand how to play consistently and leave the lesson tee with confidence.
